Ashley S. Strange

About the Artist

Ashley Strange is an interdisciplinary artist who takes much of their inspiration from artists surrounding them. Ashley has received over $30k in art grants through their artistic career and their art has been showcased at events all around the country. In 2021, Ashley began welding to expand the multitude of skills they use in their art with the intention of creating large-scale public art. Ashley is also a disabled veteran of the United States Army. In January of 2025, Ashley moved to the Greater Phoenix area in Arizona on a permanent basis.Ashley's current vision/mission is to help other artists break down the barriers & limitation to their creative process. They believe in the inclusivity of all genders with a distinct focus on fostering a safe and welcoming environment for those who identify as women to practice collaborative design and new tool skills. They have secured some warehouse space in the Phoenix area to continue fabrication of sculptures while also hosting skill-sharing and workshops for women and other aspiring artists.
